Diamond Care
The following are some tips for the care of your diamond jewelry:
- Remove your jewelry when you are doing hard work with your hands.
- Remove your jewelry if you will be in contact with chlorine bleach (this includes swimming pools, hot tubs, etc.)
- If you notice a loose stone or bent prong, remove your jewelry and have it checked by a professional jeweler.
- Dirt buildup may hasten the wear of your jewelry. Visit your jeweler at least once a year to have your fine jewelry professionally cleaned. In addition your jeweler can spot any worn prongs, faulty clasps, or other potential problems.
- Clean your jewelry regularly with an ammonia-based cleaner or rubbing alcohol.
